An open-carry state is one in which people, if they have the proper permit to do so, can carry a gun, in a holster or not, in plain view. Police in Cleveland dealt calmly with a person whom they saw carrying a long gun, a rifle in other words.
How intelligent is that? There is a real chance of a true shooting match as Trump opponents and supporters come together at the Convention Centre.
John what’s-his-name, the Ohio Governor and failed candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, has the prerogative to suspend the open carry law for the duration of the convention but did not. Very bright.
