Lying Trump Fake Juice

“Life is like riding a bike. (Not a trike).
To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”
– Albert Einstein, 1930

It has morphed into a game of cat and mouse, of gotcha, of lies upon lies upon lies. This Trump thing is just becoming ridiculous. If it wasn’t so dangerous, it would be amusing. The man is apparently becoming unhinged, retreating into himself, gaining weight and thereby becoming even fatter – his head included – than before. He is out of touch with reality, neurotic to say the least. Last time I looked the next stop on that train is out-and-out psychosis. He says that his Europe trip was a home run and press secretary Sean Spicer said yesterday, [Tuesday, 05/30/2017] that he had worked successfully to promote unity and harmony among nations, that this great president had successfully strengthened NATO and European Union ties with the U.S. Does he really believe that? Why then German Chancellor Merkle’s statement that Europe could not depend on the United States anymore and that it would have to go it alone? Is that promoting harmony? Was that the successful bringing together of nations that Spicer contends, or the home run claimed by Trump?

When asked to provide an example of fake news, Spicer came up with the media’s take either listening or not to the Italian Prime Minister’s speech. His claim that Trump’s using a one ear phone in his right ear as Presidents before him have done clamours for some substantive proof. Aside from that, the example chosen was a ridiculous one given the stories circulating concerning Kushner’s Russia dealings or the interaction between Trump’s team and Russia, or Russia’s meddling in the American election on Trump’s behalf. That’s the meat. Spicer chose to go with the lean instead.

Absurd. Au bout. (Totally). Everyday there’s more breaking news, all negative from the Trump persepective. It’s like watching a train wreck or a fire. Can’t stop watching. Can’t ignore it. Have to keep churning out posts, blogs and anything else, even a cartoon or two, just to keep people alert. Do you realize that the man is already focussed on the 2020 election? Is that normal?

He is supposedly in the process of forming a WH war room to deal with so-called fake news media’s attacks on Trump and his administration. A WAR room?

It struck me the other day during a Spicer so-called briefing. There is so much duplicity going on both behind closed doors and right out in the open, that it becomes very hard to determine what the truth is.

There is obviously something which has occurred between Russia and the Trump team both prior to and in the aftermath of the 2016 presidential election. It would seem to be impossible for something irregular and possibly illegal not to have taken place given all the smoke. But what is it?

Give it time. Hopefully, it should all come out in the wash.

In the meantime, please take note of these few short excerpts from Timothy Snyder’s excellent handbook “On Tyranny. Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century”, a recently published work.

“It is your ability to discern facts that makes you an individual, and our collective trust in common knowledge that makes us a society. The individual who investigates is also the citizen who builds. The leader who dislikes the investigators is a potential tyrant.” (My emphasis)

In explaining the meaning of the term “tyranny”: ” … the usurpation of power by a single individual or group, or the circumvention of law by rulers for their own benefit.”

“European history in the twentieth century shows us that societies can break, democracies fall, ethics can collapse, and ordinary men can find themselves standing over death pits with guns in their hands. (My emphasis)

“Americans today are no wiser than Europeans who saw democracy yield to fascism, Nazism, or communism in the 20th century. Our one advantage is that we might learn from their experience. Now is a good time to do so.”

“Notice the swatikas and other signs of hate. Do not look away, and do not get used to them. Remove them yourself and set an example for others to do so.”

… and lastly, for now:

“When the men with guns who have always claimed to be against the system start wearing uniforms and marching with torches and pictures of a leader, the end is nigh. When the pro-leader paramilitary and the official police and military intermingle, the end has come.”

Open your eyes. Open your ears. Please.

Peace out.

Timothy Snyder is a great resource.
We are flirting with tyranny w Trump and his supporters. There has never been a person like this in American politics. He is part of a dangerous world trend away from liberal democratic values. We see this in Turkey , Egypt, the Philippines,Venezuela, Bangladesh, India, and in many places throughout the world .usually terrorism and other security issues are used to create an excuse to seize power or to install Martial law. The United States is ripe for such a scenario. If the United States should lose its democracy it will bode ill for the democracies of the world.

A STOREY OF THE GREAT SKUNK!

The Great Skunk is in his office, and the smell is soo.. paralyzing his minions around him can only hold their noses and node their heads yes. Those outside supporting the Great Skunk are still breathing a slightly tainted air for now! But if someone doesn’t open a door they will become Zombies. Like the Zombies inside the office, who can’t smell the odor anymore because they have been Zombie seduced and grown so use to the smell and are hallucinating on it, and speaking in tongues from the gaseous fumes!
The Great Skunk recently travelled outside his new his house and gave the world a whiff, and a piece of his mind. To me it looks like it didn’t catch on, as well as it did here, but there was a lot of FRESH AIR HE HAD TO COMPETE WITH!! Yeah that kind of sums up the trip. what do you think?

I am extremely disappointed that Trump chose to opt-out of the Paris Climate Accord. The United States was the leading country in the climate change aggrement. The decisions that Trump is being allowed to make on behalf of the United States astounds me. It appears that the poorest of people in our country are under Trumps hypnotic spell. The southern republicans, (the poorest and most racist in the country) are convinced by Trumps words and presidency that money will magically appear in their lives. That ill health, pain and suffering will be supplanted by affordable health care. Through suffering and prayer — god sent Trump and made them worthy of gods rewards…
The truth — he is making these people lives worse. To listen to they way some people complain about taxes one woul get the impression that the average taxpayer is convinced that most of their tax dollars go to support welfare, food stamp and other entitlement programs. https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/…your-tax-dollars-actually-go/100116866/
